We've seen a number of comments/posts with speculation around certain aspects of our forthcoming budget for 2024-25. We wish to provide a summary post to try and answer some of those queries:
Precept Increase for 2024-25
At our Full Council meeting on the 5 Dec 2023, we agreed our budget for the forthcoming 2024-2025 financial year. We have agreed for the forthcoming year to set our precept (the amount taken from council tax) at £196,146.87
For a Band D household, this represents an annual amount of £63.44 which is just £1.22 per week
